For Immediate Release -Plainwell, Michigan, Nov. 30, 2006

Plainwell Industrial Park bucks the trend.
The sale of an industrial property in the Plainwell Industrial park is a welcome sign in a challenged industrial market since the major employer, Plainwell Paper, shut down.

Plainwell is located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo just east of US-131. The buyer Brad Keeler of Keeler, Inc. will operate his excavating business there. Keeler attributed a “good location” and a “good price” as his motivations to move there. The existing tenant, Dedicated Conversions Group, is expanding and relocating to another vacant property on the south edge of town due to the low rents and customer/client proximity.

Representation
The seller, a private party was represented by Prime Development Company and Mark Baker, CCIM. The buyer was represented by Prudential Callander and Don Wallace.

The Plainwell Economic Development Office’s director Brad Deneau was instrumental in assisting with the buyer. SBA financing was provided by National City Bank.
