Prime Development Associate Broker/Principal, Mark Baker, CCIM   announces the completion of the sale of a fully leased 53,650 square foot Industrial/office building on 3.17 acres in Rockford, MI. This investment property is known as the Aftech Building at 687 Byrne Industrial Drive.

Mark Baker, CCIM was the listing broker. Wayne Johnson, CCIM, SEC, was the selling broker. The Buyer was an out-of-state buyer from Wisconsin and Oregon that made the $2,150,000 offer after seeing a marketing presentation at a Society of Exchange Counselors invitation only national real estate marketing event both brokers were attending in Ohio.

“Wayne was looking for a solid investment for a 1031 tax deferred exchange requirement and the seller’s various partners were looking to cash out of their investment while interest rates are still favorable and it turned out to be a good match”, Mark commented.
