Marcel D.P. Burgler, CCIM - (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is primarily involved with commercial real estate development and brokerage. His start in the business as a real estate investor allows him a unique perspective. As a developer, his focus in the last few years has been on University related projects, both with Ferris State University as well as Wayne State University. Eric Trierweiler (CCIM candidate) is well known and respected in commercial real estate brokerage as a retail site selection specialist and commercial real estate investment advisor. He has advised a number of loyal local and national clients representing numerous cross sections of business, including restaurants, retail and petroleum. Eric joined Prime Development in 1998 as an associate and acquired the firm in 2000 along with business partner, Marcel D.P. Burgler. He is a charter member of the Commercial Alliance of Realtors (CAR) and actively served on the Board of Directors and as an officer until 2006. Eric has also been elected to serve as the local director for the MLS Board and Finance Committees, while also chairing special state-wide task forces for CAR. He has been the local representative of CAR to fashion a state wide commercial MLS for MiCAR. Eric graduated from the University of Michigan in 1987, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from one of the nations highest ranked business schools. Later that year he married Becky, also a U of M graduate and the owner of Afendoulis Cleaners & Tuxedos, a respected Grand Rapids business for over 60 years. Together they enjoy raising their son, Daniel and daughter, Tina. Eric attends Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids and also served as a trustee for ten years including two terms as Parish Council President. Recently, Eric was elected to the 2007 Board of Directors at Cascade Hills Country Club in Grand Rapids. Other interests include travel, golf, boating, upland and big game hunting. >E-Mail
Lynn P. Francis, CPM-(Certified Property Manager) entered the field of commercial real estate in 1973. During that period, he has been active in all forms of commercial real estate specializing in property management, real estate investment and development. Office properties form a major part of his portfolio. Lynn is an Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Navy with a rank of lieutenant. Lynn has served several years on the Board of Directors of the Gerald R. Ford Regional Scout Council and the Clark Retirement community. He is a member and past president of the Lions Club, president of the Mohawk Flying Club, member and past president of the University Club, past member and president of the Grand Rapids Parking Commission, 10 year member and board member of the Grand Rapids Jaycees, and member and past president of the Building Owners and Managers Association. >E-Mail
John P. Francis, CCIM-(Certified Commercial Investment Member) entered the world of commercial real estate in 1994 and joined Prime Development in 2004 as an Associate Broker. His real estate focus is office management, brokerage, investment, and development. Currently John manages over 450,000 square feet of commercial real estate. John is a past board member of the Commercial Alliance of Realtors, (CAR) and past president of the Buildings Owners and Managers Association (BOMA-Grand Rapids). John is married to Sarah and is a father of three; Ashley, Adam and Molly. John enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, chess and golf. Stephanie Myers has worked in the commercial real estate industry for the past seven years. Her experience includes brokerage, accounting, development, and property management. Stephanie enjoys her work because, “each transaction is different from the next, and this gives me the opportunity to learn new things.” Prime Development was lucky enough to gain her as an account manager in 2009.
